CAPAL/ACBES is a national membership association representing the interests of professional academic librarians in relation to the areas of education, standards, professional practice, ethics, and core principles. CAPAL differs from other library associations in that it is an advocacy group focused on the individual and the profession. We work collaboratively with local, provincial and national organizations currently working on behalf of librarians and libraries.

1d. Academic Librarian (retired, unemployed or grad seeking work in higher ed) - $25.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 15th No automatically recurring payments Fee pro-rated for new memberships July-October

2. Student - $20.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 15th No automatically recurring payments MEMBERSHIP RUNS TO JAN 15 IN THE **NEXT** ACADEMIC YEAR

3. Associate (employed other than as academic librarian) - $50.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 15th No automatically recurring payments Fee pro-rated for new memberships July-October
